The quick and
mindless things that happen during the day and night of a full time RVer.
(Recreational Vehicle) i.e.; motor home, 5th wheel, travel trailer
There will be
insights to the thinking of full timers, weekenders and winter and summer travelers. Not
all writings will involve RVers, but of those people and things that I come across
while traveling and sitting at RV parks will be the meat of my stories.
There are many
good blogs out there that are RV orientated.
Where they are, what they see and how good or bad the park is. This blog will be different. I’m considered an ornery cuss with an
negative view or half empty glass perspective of travel and people.
To give you an
example, one of my biggest pet peeves of a lot of RV attendees is the lack of what
I call ‘camper etiquette”.
People with
dogs that don’t pick up after them. Some
of the excuses have been;
“Hey, it’s part of mother nature.
You don’t pick up after a deer or squirrel, do you?”
“I can’t bend down that far”
“I can’t find it, it’s so small”
And the best one…..
“Someone else will pick it up if it
bothers them so much.”
Just the other
day, while I was picking up my pooches’ mess, another dog, near by was also
doing their thing. I stood up, turned to walk on and stepped right into the
other dog’s doo!
